The minimum mandated standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOS) 2015 require teachers who are delivering VET courses to hold a current TAE40116. Due to the additional rigor surrounding this qualification, completion times may be increased. A new teacher may find they do not have a current TAE40116 in time for commencement of the 2018 school year.
Follow the flowchart on the left to find which TAE you have and what pathway you can take. If you do not hold a TAE40110 but need to begin teaching VET in 2018 then enrol with Trainwest to start your qualification and if you will not have it in time then contact us to find out how you can be in the classroom for your first day of delivery by training with us doing just two units.
We will be providing training in both of these units across two days so that you are able to get started without delay and attain the minimum compliant standards in time for your first delivery.
